A few words about our posts.
White Cedar posts will usually last between 10-15 years without needing replacement. They blend well with the panels and make a very color uniform fence. It takes about two years to weather your fence to the gray color.
Pressure Treated posts will last about 25 years. This is the biggest reason you should choose Pressure Treated posts.
In time, all wood fences need post replacement, but chances are, if you choose pressure treated posts - your entire fence will need replacement at the same time instead of repairs a shorter time down the line.

The three photo's on the left
show a fence constructed with
100% white cedar. Notice how
the posts blend well with the
panels.
The three photo's to the right
have pressure treated posts.
They are of a different color
than the white cedar panels,
but both will turn the same gray
color over time if left untreated.
The PT post take a long, long
time to weather gray. | John Hancock | John Hancock with Panel Caps | Lattice | John Hancock with Panel Cap | Spaced John Hancock with Panel Cap |
